![]() **Customizing Your Game Settings and Disabling Tips/Tutorials** ![]() To customize your game settings, follow these steps: 1. Next to the box art photo, select "Game Properties" from the "Actions" menu. This will open a new window with more information about your game, including your product code, add-ons, and bonuses. 2. Start your game, and it will use the custom settings instead of default ones. The current `mcsettings.cfg` file will be overwritten. 3. Place the `mcsettings.cfg` file in your Documents > Electronic Arts > Sims 4 > Mods folder (or the subfolder where you keep your MC Command Center mods). To download my custom settings, click on the grey i button and choose from SFS or Mediafire. **Getting Rid of Annoying Tips/Tutorials** If you're tired of seeing tips and tutorials in The Sims 4, hover your mouse cursor over the game icon until a small info box pops up with the last time you played and how long you've played. Unfortunately, there is no option to turn off these tips/tutorials in the game. After searching online, I found a solution on Origin to disable them.
